Roles & Responsibilities

  • 7+ years of direct-selling experience of commercial equipment with an individual quota
  • Proven ability to independently close individual accounts with revenue up to $10M
  • Experience selling to business owners and executive-level decision-makers
  • End-to-end sales cycle management (prospecting to closing) with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets and proficiency in CRM systems

Requirements:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet corporate goals and pursue new customer acquisition aligned with available products.
  • Manage the existing distribution network, dealer network, and house accounts; provide sales guidance and deliver presentations to key clients.
  • Identify, recruit, and manage distributors, dealers, and representatives for uncovered territory; represent the company at trade association meetings.
  • Analyze sales statistics, prepare periodic reports, and implement training and performance evaluations to optimize sales programs and ensure budget alignment.

Job description


We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Sales Manager to sell our range of blenders to commercial clients in the APAC region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to meet corporate goals, managing our current distribution network and house accounts, and actively pursuing new customer acquisition that aligns with our available products. 

REMOTE: Candidates MUST reside on the West Coast within the Pacific time zone
TRAVEL:  International travel up to 70% 

Lead Generation and Business Development

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet corporate goals.
  • Actively pursue new customer acquisition that aligns with our available products.
  • Review market analysis to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Direct channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution.
  • Identify and recruit distributors, dealers, and representatives for the parts of the territory not currently covered.
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products.
Distributor and Client Relationship Management
  • Manage our current distribution network, dealer network, and house accounts.
  • Advise dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
  • Implement training and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programs.
  • Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy and assist distributors and dealers in promoting sales.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Analyze expenditures of territory to conform to budgetary requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 7 years of successful experience selling commercial equipment as a direct contributor carrying an individual quota.
  • Experience independently closing individual accounts with revenue up to $10M
  • Ability and experience selling to business owners & executive levels within the organization.
  • Experience managing and directing the entire sales cycle from beginning to closing.
  • Proven history of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned monthly/quarterly/annual goals and targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: writing, editing, and presenting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred/or experience combined with 7+ years in selling commercial equipment.
  • Experience with CRM software & sales tracking tools.
