Roles & Responsibilities

6+ years of experience in the design and execution of test plans, data migration strategy, application testing, and performance tuning.
Proficient in SQL and database performance tuning.
Proven experience as a data migration test engineer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of data migration processes, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) methodologies, and data integration.

Requirements:

Design test cases and scenarios to verify the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of migrated data.
Execute test cases, document results, and identify/report defects and anomalies.
Validate and verify data integrity, accuracy, completeness, and consistency during the ETL process using data quality tools and frameworks.
Coordinate with Agile teams to manage test plans and provide status reporting using tools such as Jira, and perform functional and regression testing.

Job Requirements -

SQL and Database Knowledge (Mandatory):

Advanced Proficiency in SQL to write and execute queries for data validation.
Working experience with databases like PostGreSQL, Snowflake and data warehousing concepts.

Data Analysis and Profiling :

Strong analytical skills to review and analyze data for quality issues, inconsistencies, and discrepancies.
Proficiency in data profiling tools and techniques to analyze data quality, detect anomalies, and identify patterns within data.

Data Quality and Validation (Mandatory):

Ability to validate and verify data integrity, accuracy, completeness, and consistency during the ETL process.
Knowledge of data quality tools and frameworks.

Test Design and Execution:

Design test cases and scenarios to verify the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of migrated data.
Execute test cases and document results, identifying and reporting defects and anomalies.

Skills
