Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and technically adept Technical Delivery Manager to lead the implementation and rollout of enterprise-grade data warehouse solutions on Microsoft Azure and Databricks. This role demands deep expertise in cloud architecture, data engineering, and stakeholder management to drive successful delivery across complex, regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership
Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise DWH initiatives on Azure and Databricks
Define and manage delivery roadmaps, milestones, and resource plans
Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, and business analysts
Technical Oversight
Guide solution architecture for scalable, secure, and compliant DWH implementations
Ensure optimal use of Azure services (e.g., Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory) and Databricks for ETL, analytics, and ML workloads
Oversee data modeling, ingestion pipelines, and performance tuning
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for business and technical stakeholders
Translate business requirements into actionable technical plans
Provide regular updates, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies
Governance & Compliance
Ensure alignment with enterprise security, compliance, and data governance standards
Collaborate with InfoSec and compliance teams to validate architecture and controls
Continuous Improvement
Drive process optimization and automation across delivery workflows
Promote DevOps and CI/CD best practices for data platform deployment

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Azure and Databricks certifications preferred (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Databricks Data Engineer)
Project management certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
10+ years of experience in technical delivery roles
Background in regulated industries or compliance-sensitive environments
