Job Title: Senior Nurse Assistant

Location: Remote
Department: Nursing / Patient Care Services
Reports To: Nurse Manager / Head Nurse


Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Nurse Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support nursing staff, and ensure the smooth operation of daily clinical activities. This role requires strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to patient well-being.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist registered nurses and physicians in providing direct patient care.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, patient observations, and report changes to the nursing team.
  • Support patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
  • Administer basic treatments and procedures under supervision.
  • Mentor and guide junior nurse assistants and new staff.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of patient areas and equipment.
  • Respond promptly to patient calls and needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
  • Uphold infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Strong understanding of patient care standards and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
  • Leadership experience or supervisory skills preferred.
