Job Title: Financial Analyst

Reports To: Finance Manager / Director of Finance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, developing forecasts, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze financial statements, trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and risks.
Prepare detailed financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses.
Support budgeting and long-range financial planning processes.
Conduct profitability, cost, and ROI analysis for projects or business units.
Provide financial insights to management for strategic and operational decisions.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, sales, accounting) to gather financial data.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
Participate in audits, capital expenditure evaluations, and business case development.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
Proven experience (2–5 years) as a Financial Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
