  • 10+ years’ experience working with community banks to solve technology and operational challenges
  • Extensive understanding of banking operation areas including onboarding, branch banking, digital banking, payment processing and payment networks, item processing, compliance/regulatory reporting, loan and deposit onboarding
  • Technical degree in a related field is desired

Requirements:

  • Provide adaptive consultative delivery services to customers, prospects, and team members
  • Partner with GTM teams and collaborate with Relationship Management to provide expertise on banking applications for adaptive solutions
  • Influence product strategy by communicating feedback from customers and prospects and assisting with new feature development
  • Coordinate with business development, technical teams, relationship management, product, and support to align solution design with customer requirements and support go-to-market activities

Job description

As a member of the Technology Service Delivery Team, the Adaptive Solutions Delivery Engineer utilizes a collaborative, consultative and customer centric approach to deliver adaptive consulting services that focus on customized solutions that meet the complex technology needs of community banks. By leveraging an in-depth understanding of core banking and related financial technology products, the Senior Solutions Architect is key to delivering multi-faceted challenges and aligning technology solutions that fulfill on the many of the competitive requirements of community banks. The trust and confidence created by this role will translate into tangible business growth outcomes for UFS including incremental add-on product sales (monthly recurring revenue), professional services / consulting revenue (one-time) and new business wins.             

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide adaptive consultative delivery services to customers, prospects, and team members

  • Partner with GTM team in a consultative capacity to provide expertise when the need for adaptive solutions is identified
  • Collaborate with the Relationship Management teams to provide expertise on banking applications as needed for current customers
  • Collaborate with third party fintech’s to drive efficiency in delivery of adaptive solutions

Provide subject matter expertise and assistance in developing and enabling UFS product strategy

  • Influence UFS product strategy by effectively communicating feedback from customers and prospects, as well as working with the product team to develop new product features
  • Develop frameworks for the communication of the adaptive consulting process, technical discovery and evaluation, and solution alternatives

Support Go-To-Market activities

  • Assist GTM team to document customer solution and project requirements for the sales process

Technical Leadership

  • Coordinate closely with business development, technical teams, relationship management, product, and support groups to align solution design with customers’ business requirements in a way that leverages UFS’ competitive advantage
  • Drives sales process improvement through instruction and mentorship to technical, relationship and sales team members to enhance product knowledge and technical sales skills

Knowledge and Skills

  •  Strong technical knowledge of Fiserv Premier banking applications
  • Strong analytical, creative problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Motivated, curious, and independent learner with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Excel in communicating complex concepts and solutions in a way that both technical and non-technical audiences can understand
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and responsibilities in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment with a focus on accuracy and details
  • Effective time-management, prioritization, and scheduling skills
  • Take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution

Education and/or Experience

  • 15+ years of direct experience working with Fiserv Premier banking application and core processing technology
  • 10+ years’ experience working with Community Banks to solve technology and operational challenges
  • Extensive understanding of banking operation areas including new customer onboarding, branch banking, digital banking, payment processing and payment networks, item processing, compliance/regulatory reporting, loan and deposit onboarding and other areas
  • Knowledge of core banking vendor and fintech landscape
  • Technical degree in related field is desired
