Summary:
The Program Support Specialist serves as a role model and peer leader, supporting fellow DSPs in delivering high-quality, person-centered services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Program Support Specialist provides on-the-job training, coaching, and support to ensure consistency, professionalism, and adherence to agency standards. This position bridges frontline service and leadership, helping to enhance retention, engagement, and overall service excellence.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
Education and Experience:
· Previous experience training or mentoring staff.
· Knowledge of relevant state regulations and service standards.
· CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, and other required certifications (or willingness to obtain).
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must have ability to lift/move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. periodically
