Team Lead - NEWS

Summary: The Team Lead coordinates the daily operations of a subcontracted team.

Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A

Essential Job Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate daily team activities 
• Develop additional leadership opportunities with Senior Team Lead and NEWS leadership
•  Provide direct, interactive support, instruction and training
• Attend periodic meetings with Senior Team Lead and/or NEWS leadership 
• Communicate directly with Senior Team Lead, site contacts and other personnel 
• Troubleshoot, report, or correct maintenance issues 
• Support, coach, and model for employees to ensure tasks are performed according to customer specifications 
•  Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned 

• Effective communication skills 
• Ability to assess and maintain multiple schedules 
• Passion for problem solving and designing solutions 

Education and Experience:  

• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required 
• Experience in guiding and overseeing a group of people 

Physical Requirements:   

• Prolonged periods of sustained activity including standing, walking (additional moving, navigating)
• Light lifting (2 – 20 lbs.)
