Summary:

In this role, you will build and execute client spend strategies that align with client priorities while driving partnership penetration and managing risk. You will serve as the executive-level point of contact for client supply chain and C-suite stakeholders, lead strategic account planning, and guide performance improvement initiatives that deliver sustainable, measurable outcomes across complex healthcare environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead trust-based relationships with C-suite and senior client executives to drive strategic alignment and measurable value.

  • Develop and execute multi-year account strategies aligned with client priorities and organizational objectives.

  • Implement spend strategies that expand partnerships and improve client performance outcomes.

  • Analyze data and insights to diagnose challenges, identify opportunities, and develop evidence-based recommendations.

  • Translate complex financial and operational data into compelling executive-level narratives.

  • Interpret financial performance metrics and business drivers to inform strategy and measure impact.

  • Anticipate industry trends and guide clients through market shifts to support long-term success.

  • Collaborate across internal teams to align solutions and resources around client needs.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to deepen client relationships, cross-sell services, and drive revenue growth.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree (MBA, MHA, or related) preferred.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required with a preference in healthcare supply chain operations.

  • Demonstrated success managing executive client relationships within complex, matrixed healthcare environments.

  • Strong financial, analytical, and strategic planning skills.

  • Proven ability to influence, facilitate, and communicate effectively with executive audiences.

  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
