Job description

We are seeking a Dynamics 365 BC Application Specialist to provide functional expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and evaluate customer business processes against standard application functionality. This role leads functional workstreams across the full implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering through configuration, testing, and user enablement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations, including requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post–go-live support.
  • Lead functional workstreams by facilitating client workshops, gathering and documenting requirements, and translating business needs into functional specifications.
  • Evaluate customer business processes against standard Business Central functionality and recommend best-practice solutions.
  • Configure and support Business Central financial and operational modules, including required customizations and ISV integrations.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), develop training materials, and train customer users to ensure successful adoption.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Strong functional expertise across Business Central financial modules, including configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience working with ISVs and development teams to support enhancements, integrations, and scalable ERP solutions.
  • Proven ability to map business requirements to ERP functionality and document end-to-end business processes.
  • Demonstrated experience with system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and testing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft certification in Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Power Platform.
  • Experience with process optimization, automation, and data accuracy initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience supporting vertical or industry-specific ERP solutions.
  • General pre-sales experience, including solution demonstrations or proposal support.
