About The Role & Team

As a Build Engineer, you will be part of the DevOps team and work to create and optimize build pipelines and processes to support game development, orchestrated with Perforce, Unreal Engine and TeamCity. You will collaborate with both development and QA teams to ensure that build and test pipelines run efficiently and provide the results and feedback the teams need to quickly iterate on features and bugs.

We focus on automation and configuration as code, and prefer to adopt industry standards and practices over custom development of tooling and systems - but always with an eye for pragmatism and our specific requirements.

The right candidate will bring existing experience and knowledge from similar roles, to expand and optimize our pipelines, and will be able to take responsibility and ownership of the tooling and processes involved.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Perforce administration

• 3+ years of experience with Unreal Engine

• Extensive experience with and knowledge of CI pipelines

• Understanding of branching strategies and tools

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Horde

• Experience with TeamCity

• C# and C++ skills

• Experience with distribution platforms (Steam, PS store, etc)

• Hands-on experience with AWS

• Understanding of and hands-on experience with Infrastructure and Configuration as code

 Role Responsibilities

• Create and maintain build pipeline configurations

• Perforce administration to meet development and pipeline needs for our Unreal developers

• Create and maintain cloud-based build pipeline infrastructure
