  • Support the effective use of privacy management software and platforms and integrate them into Dexcom’s operations.
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments to review and manage privacy risks arising from legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Initiate and conduct activities to create data privacy and security awareness and education within the enterprise.
  • Lead status meetings with internal cross-functional teams and external partners, and create clear summaries of projects, milestones, dependencies, and progress.

Meet the team:
We are an enthusiastic team of privacy champions that are committed to safeguarding patient and employee data and ensuring compliance with global privacy regulations and laws. Our Global Privacy Team is at the forefront of this mission, working diligently to protect sensitive information and uphold the highest standards of data security. 

Where you come in:

  • You will support the effective use of privacy management software and platforms, integrating them seamlessly into Dexcom’s operations.
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments to support the review and management of privacy risks arising out of legal and regulatory requirements. 
  • You have Knowledge of DSAR, ROPA, Privacy by Design, PETs
  • Initiate and conduct activities to create data privacy and security awareness and education within the enterprise. 
  • You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effectiveness, compliance, and continuous improvement of our information security privacy program. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of information security & privacy frameworks, privacy regulations, and best practices to support our organization's strategic objectives and mitigate risks. 
  • You will create clear summaries of projects, their statuses, dependencies, and other key details for a shared understanding of progress on the team’s efforts.
  • You demonstrate ability, confidence, and effective communication skills to lead status meetings with internal cross-functional teams as well as external partners.

What makes you successful: 

  • Your proficiency with global data protection laws, regulations, and frameworks. 
  • Experience with creating data flow diagrams.
  • Competency in OneTrust, Jira, Microsoft Office, Excel, SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
  • Excellent project management and documentation skills, including a demonstrated ability to develop and manage a project with a detailed schedule, establish priorities, work to deadlines and able to manage several projects with various technologies and in various stages of development. 
  • Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude and self-driven to deliver results without daily supervision.  

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 – 8 years of related experience.
  • One or more following certifications:  CIPM, CIPT, CIPP/US/E, CISA, CISSP, AIGP
  • Knowledge of Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs)
  • Knowledge or a willingness to learn about AI Governance

Monthly base salary for this position is from €3,258.33 to €4,025.00 gross. Final offer will depend on your qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
