FP&A Analyst

About the role

We’re strengthening our Finance team and are looking for a FP&A Analyst who will play a key role in ensuring high-quality monthly reporting, supporting our forecasting and budgeting cycles, and providing clear financial insights to support decision-making. You will work closely with Accounting, Operations, and Leadership to ensure accurate reporting, robust planning, and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders. 

What you’ll be doing 

• As Finance Business Partner, you will coordinate FP&A activities during month-end closing and prepare accurate group-level reporting, including variance analyses. 
• Maintain reporting structures across sites, cost centers and projects to ensure consistent and reliable data. 
• Support the preparation of quarterly forecasts and the annual budget, including tracking performance against targets  
• Maintain rolling financial models and provide insight into drivers, risks and opportunities. 
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the long-term financial plan at GROPYUS Group level and perform financial modelling for key pipeline projects, including cost development, working capital requirements, milestones, and expected returns.  
• Assist in preparing investor-related materials, including KPI reporting, project reports and financial statements. 

Who you are 

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in FP&A, business controlling, financial consulting, audit, or similar finance roles. 
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate data into insights. 
• Good understanding of financial statements, cashflow mechanics and forecasting principles. 
• Comfortable working with multiple data sources and collaborating with cross-functional teams. 
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with SAP (S/4 HANA), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or Rib iTWO is a plus. 
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and reliably. 
• Business fluent in English; German is a plus.
