About the role:

As a Senior Structural Engineer at GROPYUS, you will be part of our interdisciplinary Building System Team and responsible for the structural design, development, and implementation of our serial timber construction system.

Your tasks include:

Structural and design development of our building system
Detailed and product development specific to timber construction
Development of technical solutions taking into account manufacturing and assembly (DfMA principles) as well as sustainability and cost-effectiveness
Development and verification of design and dimensioning tools for multi-story timber construction
Creating project-specific stability certificates and structural design documentation for timber construction
Project management for structural design in timber construction
Close collaboration with our experts in architecture, building services, building physics, fire protection, production, and execution
Contributing to the further development of our digital value chain in collaboration with our product and tech teams

About you:

Successfully completed master's/diploma degree in a relevant field (civil engineering, timber construction, structural engineering)
Several years of experience in structural design for timber construction projects in Germany and/or Austria
In-depth knowledge of the relevant Eurocodes and their application (especially Eurocode 5)
Affinity for digital processes and their further development
Fluent communication skills in German and English
Experience in timber construction companies, in timber construction product development, or additional training in carpentry or similar is an advantage
Experience with Dlubal RFEM, AutoCAD, Rhino is an advantage
