Job description

Business Development Manager โ€“ Indonesia

medtechrec is partnered with a global orthopaedic medical device manufacturer to appoint a Business Development Manager in Indonesia. This role is responsible for leading market-expansion initiatives, developing distributor partnerships, and strengthening surgeon adoption across key orthopaedic and sports-medicine product lines. The position requires a commercially driven professional who can combine strategic planning with hands-on market execution and relationship management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing commercial and market-growth strategies.

  • Identifying, appointing, and managing distributor partners across Indonesia.

  • Building strong relationships with surgeons, hospital stakeholders, and procurement teams.

  • Leading pricing strategy, tender management, and contract negotiations.

  • Monitoring competitor activity, market trends, and reimbursement conditions.

  • Supporting training workshops, clinical education programs, and product launches.

  • Delivering accurate sales forecasting and market-performance reporting.

Candidate profile:
