Data Visualization Specialist for HRM INFO LLC's End Client
Anywhere in US - Remote Only.
Skills: Data Engineering or Data Management experience., Qlik, AWS environment (AWS certifications preferred), UI Design and End User Engagement
Security Clearance: TS (T5 investigation closed in past 2 years) or CBP cleared.
Note: This position is entirely remote, but candidates should reside within a reasonable driving distance to Fort Meade, MD (near Washington, D.C.). Priority would still be full scope software engineers or data engineers willing to work on-site full-time in Fort Meade or DC area)
Job Summary
Heavy in UI design and end user engagement initially - so less coding up front, though that will come. Given that, might have more success with titles focused on "design" or "architect" vs software engineers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Data Engineering or Data Management experience.
- Strong SQL skills, and ability to identify issues with data.
- Experience with PowerBI tools
- Understanding of database and database design
- Demonstrated experience with cleaning, management, optimizing performance and processing large volumes of data.
- Demonstrated experience within an AWS environment (AWS certifications preferred)
- Familiarity with industry best-practices for software-hardware optimization when processing large sets of data.
- Experience with machine learning, with statistical modeling, time-series forecasting and/or geospatial analytics is preferred.
Must Have
- Only TS (T5 investigation closed in past 2 years) or CBP cleared Candidates will qualify for this role.
- Data Engineering or Data Management Experience (5+ years): Significant experience in the field of Data Engineering or Data Management, showcasing a strong foundation in handling and processing data.
- Hands-on experience with Qlik and PowerBI tools, showcasing the ability to utilize these tools for data visualization, analysis, and decision-making purposes.
- Demonstrated experience in cleaning, managing, and optimizing data for performance, particularly handling large volumes of data efficiently.
- AWS Environment Experience
- Heavy Experience in UI Design and User Engagement
Nice to Have
- Experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, time-series forecasting, or geospatial analytics would be advantageous.
