We are currently looking for passionate and experienced educators to join our team as Online Secondary School Teachers/Tutors. Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic high school educators to provide virtual instruction and academic support in one or more of the following subjects:

• Math

• Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)

• English

• Business

• Computer Science

The ideal candidate will be able to create an engaging and inclusive online learning environment, demonstrate a deep understanding of their subject area, and foster academic growth and confidence in students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging online lessons aligned with curriculum expectations.

• Educate and support students in mastering subject-specific concepts and skills.

• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and encouraging virtual classroom environment.

• Monitor student progress, assign work, and provide constructive feedback.

• Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding student performance.

• Collaborate with team members to enhance teaching strategies and student outcomes.

• Participate in professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in online education.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field required.

• Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) designation preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience teaching high school students in an online setting.

• Proficiency in Moodle LMS (mandatory).

• Experience using Zoom for instruction and classroom management.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A reliable internet connection and a professional home teaching setup.

• Excellent online tutoring and classroom management skills.

• Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.

• Passionate about education and committed to student success.

• Patient, empathetic, and able to motivate and inspire students.
