Our client are currently seeking to recruit at least one Level 2 or above qualified Early Years Practitioner for their growing team. This role is for a full time, 40 hour week spread across a 4 day work week. You will have a dedicated day off each week (specific day will be at the nurseries discretion) and will be working 7:30am - 6:30pm each working day.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to continue their Childcare career in a new role, where further opportunities to learn and develop are readily available to each staff member.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Contribute to a high standard of quality within the nursery
• Undertake the role of key person
• Supervise and support children at all times
• Notify Designated Officer of any safeguarding concerns
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, colleagues and visitors
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, parents and carers
• Work as part of a team
• Provide high standards of care and education
• Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained

Requirements of This role:

• Minimum of Level 2 in Childcare
• Minimum of 3 years previous experience in Childcare
• Friendly personality
• Sound knowledge of Safeguarding, Health & Safety, EYFS etc
• Confidence
• Willingness to learn and develop
