Native or near-native Korean speaker
1-3 years of Chinese-to-Korean game localization experience
Familiar with ACGN culture
Experience using computer-assisted translation tools (e.g., MemoQ, Memsource, SDL Trados, Wordfast) and available to work 8 hours per day (10:00 am–7:00 pm) with weekends off for at least 6 months

Requirements:

Provide high-quality translations of game promotional documents, storylines, configurations, and character descriptions from Chinese (Simplified) to Korean
Ensure translations reflect local cultural characteristics and remain consistent with game branding
Follow the standardised translation process and operate within the online translation platform
Collaborate with the localization team to meet fast turnaround times

Our client is a global leader in providing multilingual localisation solutions, specialising in digital interactive entertainment. By now it has completed hundreds of game localisation projects. Relying on excellent localisation experts around the world, we provide localised works that meet the local cultural characteristics of each country. We welcome more excellent localisation experts to join our global game localisation community to bring more joy to people around the world.

Responsibilities

As a Localisation Specialist, the best candidate will be an avid computer gamer with a passion for localisation and translation;
You will be responsible for providing the highest quality translations of game promotional documents, storylines, configurations, character descriptions, etc. for the following language pairs: Chinese (Simplified) to Korean.

Requirements

Passionate about PC, video or mobile gaming;
Native or nearly-native Korean speakers with 1-3 years of Chinese to Korean game localization related experience, familiar with ACGN;
Worked 8 hours a day, (10:00 am to 7:00 pm with 1 hour lunch break ) weekends off, for at least 6 monthes;
Collaborative translators who enjoy working in a team environment and adapt well to fast turnaround times;
Experience using computer-assisted translation tools; MemoQ, Memsource, SDL Trados or Wordfast.
