Roles & Responsibilities

  • Minimum 2 years experience in preparing Statements of Advice (SoAs) for the Australian financial planning industry
  • Experience using AdviserLogic and/or Xplan (WealthSolver, Risk Researcher, and Xtools+)
  • Thorough understanding of the compliance requirements and financial products in the Australian financial planning industry
  • Excellent English reading, writing and speaking skills

  • Conduct product research and financial modelling, and work closely with financial advisers to develop strategies and advice
  • Liaise with financial advisers to ensure that the service provided is as per their requirements and the regulatory requirements
  • Conduct comprehensive product research, including comparing financial products and services, and present findings in a clear and concise manner; ensure all advice aligns with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Paraplanner at Mind Plus. The Paraplanner will be responsible for financial planning, analytical tasks, investment research, financial analysis, and report writing. While the role is based in Colombo, some work from home may be acceptable.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in preparing Statements of Advice (SoAs) for the Australian financial planning industry.
  • Experience using AdviserLogic and/or Xplan (WealthSolver, Risk Researcher, and Xtools+)
  • Thorough understanding of the compliance requirements, and financial products in the Australian financial planning industry.
  • Excellent English reading, writing and speaking skills.
  • Strong computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • A high attention to detail and good problem solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills the ability multi-task and manage competing priorities.
  • A positive attitude with a desire to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
