India - Remote - Telecommunications Designer

We are seeking remote, full-time Telecommunications Designers Level 1 with 1-8 years of experience in designing fiber optic (FTTx), HFC, EPON, and coaxial communications systems using AutoCAD or similar design software. Candidates with experience working on US-based projects and familiar with relevant standards and practices preferred. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design site plans for OSP (Outside Plant) fiber and coaxial cable routes.   
• Understand survey field notes and sketches to create new or update existing designs using various software platforms.
• Organize and maintain revisions of project drawings. 
• Generation of bills of materials, splice sheets, and other supporting documentation for design.  
• Complete assigned work while maintaining an elevated level of quality, accuracy, and efficiency.  
• Work with project managers, design engineers, and QC team to meet deadlines. 
• Focus on productivity and accuracy of designs in a high production environment. 
• Adherence to customer specifications. 
• Complete assigned work while maintaining a high level of quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Must be fluent in English
• Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and specifications.   
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.   
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
• Ability to adapt to changes in project scope and shifts in priority.   
• Superior time management and attention to detail.   
• Ambitious with the ability to learn new software quickly. 
• Ability to navigate and pull data from multiple software programs at once. 
• Prior experience designing cable TV, RF and Fiber.   
• AutoCAD (or similar computer aided design software), ArcGIS (or similar ESRI software), Bentley v8i (or similar MicroStation software), SpatialNet, Magellan, LODE Data, GE Smallworld, and/or ArcFM experience preferred.   
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations. 

Time Requirement:

Shift(s), Day shift is Monday - Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM IST Or Monday - Friday 5:30 PM - 12:00 AM IST. 40 hours per week minimum. Training hours for two weeks will be 4:30 PM - 12:30 AM IST, Monday - Friday.
