African Safari Group (ASG) is a leading luxury safari and travel company, specializing in bespoke travel experiences across Africa. We are passionate about creating life-changing journeys for our clients and pride ourselves on exceptional service, in-depth local knowledge, and authentic experiences.

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced East African Luxury Travel Consultant to join our growing team. This role is 100% client and lodge-focused, meaning you will work directly with high-net-worth clients to design their dream trips and coordinate directly with lodges and camps—there is no B2B sales involved.

You will be responsible for crafting personalized itineraries, managing client relationships, and ensuring seamless communication with the lodges to deliver unforgettable experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and sell bespoke luxury safari and travel experiences in East Africa.
  • Work directly with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and expectations.
  • Liaise directly with lodges, camps, and local partners to ensure flawless travel arrangements.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of service throughout the travel process.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and travel regulations.
  • Meet and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the team’s overall success.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a luxury travel consultant, preferably specializing in East Africa.
  • In-depth knowledge of East African destinations, lodges, camps, safaris, and experiences.
  • Strong sales skills with a focus on direct-to-client luxury travel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Passion for travel, wildlife, and delivering outstanding client experiences.

Desirable:

  • Multilingual skills are a plus (French, German, or Spanish).
  • Experience with luxury travel booking platforms and CRM systems.
