Job description

Company Background:

We are looking for a market-facing, client-facing Sales Manager with strong industry exposure in the Industrial Equipment / Heavy Machinery / Palm Oil Machinery sectors for our client, to be based in Muar, Johor.

Job Requirements:

Conduct regular site visits to palm oil mills and industrial facilities to understand their operations and machinery requirements
Build long-term relationships with mill managers, engineers, supervisors, and procurement teams.
Act as the trusted point of contact, representing the company's solutions and services professionally on-site.
Gather real-time insights on market trends, mill priorities, machinery needs, and urgent challenges.
Identify and generate new business opportunities by understanding client requirements and introducing appropriate solutions.
Facilitate discussions between clients and internal teams to ensure smooth proposal and quotation processes.
Assist in negotiating terms and opening doors for contracts or projects.

Requirements & Details:

Minimum 8–10 years experience in Palm Oil Machinery, Industrial Equipment, Heavy Machinery, or related sectors
Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field
Strong network and understanding of the Malaysia or Indonesia mill environment
Proficient in English, Malay and Chinese (Mandarin)
Company car provided
Monthly commission provided
High-support, Low-administration, High-autonomy role
