Location(s): Kansas City, MO / New York / Pennsylvania / New Jersey / Maryland - (Remote)

Get To Know the Team

The team consists of 4 team members to support business applications for Axcelus Insurance. There is a mix of skill sets – developers, database admins, and business analysts. The work is a variety of support and development of existing applications as well as new development. The team works closely with associates in the larger US GIDS technology team and the infrastructure team on their projects.

What You Will Get to Do

• The Senior Application Developer acts as the principal designer for major applications utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology, tools and existing designs.
• Has responsibility for technical delivery of complex development activities for a given assignment.
• Also acts as the lead technical resource responsible for directing the overall technical progress of projects or application initiatives.
• In this capacity, they will plan and administer the operational and administrative activities of a Development Programming unit or team.

What You Will Bring

• Experienced developer in Windows environment.
• Knowledge of SQL Server and proficiency in SQL.
• Ability to work on a team in a collaborative effort in support of existing applications and development of new functionality to enable business expansion.
• Bachelors Degree required.

Jersey City, NJ: Salary range for the position: 80,000 USD to 90,000 USD. NY: Salary range for the position: 80,000 USD to 90,000 USD. Maryland: Salary range for the position: 80,000 USD to 90,000 USD.
