What are Hospice Volunteers?
Volunteers at Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice (CVHHH) provide support to patients and their primary caregivers. They are carefully chosen and trained with the idea of ensuring that patients and their families continue to feel connected to their community. Volunteers are a free service that is a part of the CVHHH hospice program.
What Kinds of Support Do Volunteers Provide?
CVHHH Hospice Volunteers can provide support before and after a patientβs death. Examples include (but are not limited to):
Benefits include new volunteer & annual training, assignments that fit interests & schedules, and connect with a local organization providing community care for over 100 years.
