Job Title: Principal Product Manager – NAF Link

Salary: $160K - $175K/yr d.o.e.

Location: Remote OK - If living within 31 miles of Tustin, CA or Austin, TX will need to be able to work a hybrid schedule

Overview

The Principal Product Manager is a senior individual contributor and strategic force within the Product organization, responsible for shaping the long-term vision, strategy, and evolution of NAF Link, our flagship Point of Sale (POS) platform. This role operates at a system level, influencing not only individual features but the overall architecture, experience, and business outcomes of the loan origination journey.

As a Principal PM, you will partner closely with executive leadership, engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams to ensure NAF Link remains a category-defining platform for Loan Officers and borrowers alike. You will tackle the most complex product problems, lead high-impact initiatives end-to-end, and serve as a thought leader and mentor within the product organization.

Product Vision, Strategy, and Outcomes

  • Own and evolve the long-term product vision and strategy for NAF Link, ensuring alignment with company-level objectives, technology strategy, and market dynamics.
  • Identify and articulate multi-year opportunities, defining strategic bets that drive growth, differentiation, and platform maturity.
  • Translate vision into clear outcomes, guiding teams from problem definition through solution delivery and value realization.

End-to-End Product Leadership

  • Lead complex, cross-cutting initiatives spanning multiple teams, systems, and user personas.
  • Define and maintain a strategic, outcome-oriented roadmap, balancing near-term delivery with long-term platform investments.
  • Drive go-to-market strategy in partnership with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Training to ensure successful adoption and measurable impact.

Customer, Market, and Systems Insight

  • Develop a deep, first-hand understanding of Loan Officers, borrowers, and internal stakeholders through continuous discovery and user observation.
  • Conduct advanced market and competitive analysis to position NAF Link as a leader in POS innovation.
  • Demonstrate strong systems thinking—understanding how NAF Link integrates with LOS, CRM, communications, data, and downstream fulfillment workflows.

Product Discovery, Innovation, and Prioritization

  • Lead high-stakes product discovery efforts, framing ambiguous problems and validating solutions through data, experimentation, and user insight.
  • Apply rigorous prioritization frameworks to ensure investment is focused on initiatives with the highest strategic and customer impact.
  • Champion innovation across automation, AI-assisted workflows, and experience design to meaningfully improve conversion, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Data, Metrics, and Decision Making

  • Define success metrics and measurement frameworks that connect product outcomes to business results.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to guide decisions, assess tradeoffs, and course-correct strategy as needed.
  • Present clear, executive-level insights on performance, risks, and opportunities.

Cross-Functional Influence and Leadership

  • Partner deeply with Engineering, Design, Data, and Architecture teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
  • Influence without authority, aligning diverse stakeholders around shared goals and outcomes.
  • Act as a mentor and role model for Product Managers, elevating product thinking, discovery practices, and execution standards across the team.

Industry Thought Leadership

  • Leverage deep mortgage industry expertise to anticipate regulatory, operational, and market shifts.
  • Serve as a trusted product voice internally, helping shape broader product and technology strategy beyond NAF Link.
Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with significant experience in Mortgage Lending technology, specifically POS and/or LOS platforms.
  • Proven track record of owning and delivering complex, high-impact products or platforms at scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, from vision setting to detailed execution.
  • Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills, with comfort navigating large, complex data sets.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills, including experience working with senior and executive leaders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; advanced degree a plus.
