Mobile-Technologies provides innovative biometric solutions designed to help Organizations, Governments and Regulators ensure seamless compliance without compromising on operational requirements. With offices in Bangkok, Dubai and Lagos, Mobile-Technologies is growing fast. We are looking for DBA/SQL Developer to come and join us. With offices in Bangkok, Dubai, Lagos and people working remotely from around the world, you will be part of a multi-skilled team responsible of projects and change requests delivery.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

Work with integration, support and development team to develop and tune SQL scripts.
Be an active participant in discussions about database design and architecture.
Install, tune, implement and upgrade DBMS installations for high availability and quality.
Pro-actively look for query improvements: making s implementation, process enhancement.
Be passionate about technology & quality deliverables and be an advocate for best practices in database technologies.

To join our crew, following points will be considered (all is NOT required):

Senior preferable. Mid-level considered also.
Linux experience is needed.
Experience with SQL Development in Mobile applications
Work with Oracle and Postgres DB systems hosted on-site or in cloud.
Develop SQL scripts for data migration, data reconciliation and reporting.
Help tune SQL scripts used in application.
Performance tuning of database systems.
Upgrade and patch database system when required.
Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
Create automation for repeating database tasks.
Good communication skills in English
Be a team player, not afraid to communicate clearly on issues and progress.
Work in normal working hours, but also flexible to be available at night for planned work that needs to be executed outside of customer business hours.
