Roles & Responsibilities

  • 1–2 years of professional software QA experience with a proven track record of identifying, documenting, and resolving issues.
  • Extensive experience in manual testing of web-based platforms and applications, including designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test cases.
  • Strong expertise in test automation, including designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Proficiency with QA tools and frameworks (Selenium WebDriver or Playwright/Cypress; Postman; JUnit/TestNG/NUnit/PyTest; JMeter; SQL; Git; Jenkins/Azure DevOps; Maven/Gradle/npm); plus familiarity with Confluence and strong collaboration/documentation skills.

Requirements:

  • Plan, design, and execute manual testing for web-based platforms; perform regression, smoke, and sanity tests to validate performance and stability; identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
  • Create, maintain, and organize clear test case documentation; keep accurate records of test results, bug reports, and fixes.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure fixes meet expectations; participate in reviews to ensure features meet quality standards before release.
  • Study User Manual and Confluence resources to stay updated; understand platform workflows and business processes; support testing needs with HTTP calls and API testing as needed.

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, you will be responsible for safeguarding the quality and functionality of our platforms. You will design and execute thorough testing processes, document results with precision, and collaborate with developers to ensure issues are resolved before deployment. Your work directly impacts the smooth daily operations of our business and the experience of every user.

Job Responsibilities

  • Platform Testing & Quality Control
    • Perform thorough manual testing of related systems
    • Conduct regression, smoke, and sanity tests to validate system performance and stability
    • Identify, document, and track bugs or issues through resolution
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Create clear, detailed, and organized test case documentation
    • Maintain accurate records of test results, bug reports, and fixes
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and confirm that fixes meet expectations
    • Participate in review sessions to ensure all features meet quality standards before release
  • Process Familiarization & Continuous Learning
    • Study and utilize the User Manual and other Confluence resources to stay updated on features, processes, and best practices
    • Understand platform workflows and the business processes they support
  • Technical Skills Development
    • Learn to perform and interpret HTTP calls to support testing needs

Requirements

    • Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or a closely related field, with a proven track record of identifying, documenting, and resolving issues
    • Extensive experience in manual testing of web-based platforms and applications, with the ability to design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases
    • Strong expertise in test automation, including designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to improve the efficiency and scalability of testing processes
    • Proficient in regression testing, with the capability to set up automated regression suites to reduce manual testing for existing products, allowing manual QA to focus on new features and product releases
    • Technical proficiency with QA tools and frameworks, including:
      • Selenium WebDriver for web app UI automation, or Playwright / Cypress for modern web automation
      • Can understand and write code primarily using the JavaScript programming language.
      • Postman for manual API testing
      • JUnit / TestNG / NUnit / PyTest for unit and integration testing
      • JMeter for performance testing
      • SQL for querying and validating database records
      • Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) for reviewing and managing automation code and test scripts
      • Browser Developer Tools for debugging and inspection
      • Jenkins for CI/CD test execution pipelines
      • Azure DevOps for work tracking, testing, and collaboration
      • Maven / Gradle / npm for building and managing test frameworks
    • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with proficiency in tools such as Slack and Google Docs for team communication and documentation
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to document processes and issues with accuracy and clarity
    • Familiarity with regression, smoke, and sanity testing concepts
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
    • Basic understanding of HTTP calls and web application functionality is a plus
    • Experience with Confluence or similar documentation tools is a plus

Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements:

  • Internet Connection:
    • Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.
    • Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps.
    • Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.

  • Primary Device:
    • Desktop or laptop equipped with at least:
      • Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer)Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer)AMD Ryzen 5, or an equivalent processor.
      • A minimum of 8 GB RAM.

  • Backup Device:
    • Must meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor.
    • Must be functional during power interruptions.

  • A functioning webcam.
