dormakaba Bulgaria is looking for Lean Expert who will drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality. This role collaborates with production, supply chain, and quality teams to implement Lean methodologies and foster a culture of operational excellence.
A job that matters: your tasks
- Identify, analyze, and implement process improvements using Lean principles (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, etc.).
- Lead and support continuous improvement projects across multiple production lines or plants.
- Work closely with production teams to eliminate waste, optimize workflows, and improve overall plant efficiency.
- Conduct training, workshops, and coaching sessions to promote Lean culture throughout the organization.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics, dashboards, and reports to monitor operational efficiency.
- Implement standardized work procedures and visual management systems.
- Support the integration of Lean principles in new processes, equipment, and systems.
- Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving sessions to address operational issues.
- Benchmark and adopt best practices from industry and other plants.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams.
- Assist in planning and prioritizing improvement initiatives based on business impact.
- Lead or participate in audits to ensure compliance with Lean and operational excellence standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging employees to contribute ideas for efficiency and quality improvements.
An experience that matters: your skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence.
- Strong knowledge of Lean tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills -English B2 .
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or related methodology is a plus.
- Process-oriented mindset and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to lead change and influence teams
