Senior Development Manager Platform (m/f/d)

• Responsibility for the strategic development of platform services (OS management, database & middleware management, technical application management, cloud-native services, platform security, etc.). 
• Planning, designing, and implementing new platform services as well as their continuous optimization. 
• Consulting in the platform environment. 
• Management and coordination of platform projects (partial or full project leadership).
• Innovation lead for the platform area (introduction of new technologies, automation, standardization).
• Further development of standards, templates, and documentation for platform services.
• Support in presales activities and creation of technical concepts for clients.
• Close collaboration with internal departments, clients, and external service providers .

• Completed training as an IT specialist in system integration or a degree in computer science/business informatics, or equivalent qualification combined with relevant professional experience.
• Extensive experience in platform services, including OS management, database and middleware administration, technical application management, cloud-native services, and platform security. Familiarity with on-premise, private cloud, and hyperscaler environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Solid knowledge of ITIL processes and project management methodologies, with proven experience in technical project leadership and/or architecture within complex platform environments.
• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities, solution-oriented mindset, excellent communication and leadership skills, combined with customer focus and persuasive capabilities.
• Proficient in architectural and project management tools as well as common MS Office applications.
• Business fluent in German and English.
