Strong knowledge of Teradata tools, utilities, SQL/PLSQL (TD 16+ preferred)
Experience with Control-M scheduling
Agile/SCRUM experience with strong verbal and written communication
Requirements:
Develop, optimize, and maintain Teradata SQL/PLSQL code and utilities
Design and implement batch jobs and scheduling using Control-M; monitor workflows and troubleshoot issues
Collaborate in Agile SCRUM teams, participate in ceremonies, and provide status updates to stakeholders
Work with JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket; contribute to migration/rebuild projects across platforms and apply architect/designer skills as needed
Job description
1. 6+ years of exp.
2. Good knowledge of Teradata (Tools & Utilities & SQL/PLSQL) – preferable TD 16 and above.
3. Experience with Control-m scheduling.
4. Good communication skills (verbal & written)
5. Basic working knowledge on tools like JIRA confluence bitbucket etc.
6. Should be a process oriented person and have agile & SCRUM knowledge.
Secondary skills & good to have skills (which are advantageous for us):-
1. Good to have PERL scripting knowledge. (Good to have but not primary requirement)
2. Good to have someone who is tech enthusiast and likes to learn new technologies in market and having interest in cloud tech especially GCP.
3. Good to have someone who has experience on migration projects & code rebuilds – among homogenous platforms & among heterogeneous/hybrid platforms. This requirement needs the candidate to have developer & designer skills. If the candidate has worked as an architect it will be an added advantage.
