Lead Data Engineer

Role Description:
Understand and analyze the client’s functional and non-functional requirements
Analyze current state of data, explore possible options, design, and create data pipelines (data lake / data warehouses) for
specific requirements
Collaborate with the team, to design the solution for the business problems and communicate effectively to stakeholders
Design high quality reports and dashboards selecting right types of visuals and presentation considering best user
experience
Working experience with large, heterogeneous datasets in building and optimizing data pipelines, pipeline architectures
and integrated datasets using data integration technologies
Own effort estimation and assist in project planning for the different phases
Lead the team and ensure timely and quality deliveries.
Key Desirables :
A minimum of 6+ years of experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
Strong experience in ETL platforms like Informatica ETL, Powercenter, IICS, or similar tools
Deep knowledge of various big data technologies like BigQuery, AWS Redshift
Hands-on experience with BI tools like Tableau (Preferred), MS Power BI, etc.
Experience in functional/programming languages such as Python, Spark, Scala and Java .
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to
executives and non-technical leaders.
