Job Title: Bookkeeper

Location: Permanent WFH

Dedicated to delivering exceptional [products/services]. We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting our accounting functions, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including transactions, invoices, and receipts. Enter data into accounting software and ensure all entries are accurate and complete.

Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and following up on overdue accounts.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and assist with financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and monthly financial summaries.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and financial reviews.

Communication: Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients regarding financial matters. Address inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of years of experience in 2 years on bookkeeping or a related field.

Education: Associate's or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.

Knowledge: Understanding of basic accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and external contacts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper, CPA) is a plus.

Experience with industry-specific accounting practices or software.

Knowledge of payroll systems and compliance regulations.
