Associate Attorney - Workers Compensation

Position Overview:
We are looking to welcome a dedicated Associate Attorney to our Workers' Compensation Defense team. This fully remote position is available to candidates located anywhere in Florida. You will be entrusted with your own caseload and will collaborate closely with a seasoned Partner to craft litigation strategies and deliver top-tier service to clients.

This role offers a chance to refine your legal skills, build your expertise, and make a significant contribution to a well-established team. Strong writing skills and prior experience reviewing medical records are highly valued. Enrty-Level candidates are welcome to apply. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a diverse caseload of Workers' Compensation defense matters
• Work directly with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and client consultations
• Review and analyze medical records to support case development
• Draft clear and concise legal documents, motions, and pleadings
• Maintain regular communication with clients and ensure their needs are met
• Effectively manage work independently in a remote setting

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience as an Attorney 
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
• Experience reviewing medical records and drafting legal documents is a plus
• Juris Doctorate (JD) and active Florida Bar Membership in good standing
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a virtual environment

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in remote or virtual legal settings
• Strong comfort level with legal technology and virtual court processes
