Job Spec - Business Development Recruitment Consultant

The Role
This is a pure business development position - no candidate work, no delivery, just relationships and results. You’ll be responsible for bringing new schools on board and driving revenue growth through meaningful partnerships.
Your day will involve:
Proactively reaching out to schools across London to introduce us
Speaking directly with headteachers, business managers, and SENCOs
Navigating gatekeepers and finding creative ways to get through to decision makers
Building long-term client relationships rooted in trust and value
Working closely with the Managing Director to shape our growth strategy
Tracking outreach, leads, and performance using our CRM
About You
You’re a natural on the phone - confident, curious, and relentless when it comes to results. You understand that building something from scratch isn’t easy, but that’s exactly what excites you.
You’ll need:
Proven experience in business development or telesales (education or recruitment sector a plus)
High resilience - you’ll face “no” more often than “yes,” and that won’t shake you
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
A driven, goal-oriented mindset with a genuine belief in what we stand for
