Job description

We are seeking a Web Content Coordinator to join their marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technology, experience working with Content Management System (CMS) platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, WIX, or similar, and a proven ability to translate web content and designs into functional webpage layouts. Familiarity with project management processes and a logical, solution-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.


What you will do: 

Webpage Creation & Content Application:

  • Create and maintain webpages using CMS platform, ensuring content is accurately applied and designs are accurately translated into functional webpage layouts.
  • Utilize tools such as WYSIWYG editors, and drag-and-drop webpage builders to build and customize web pages.
  • Upload, organize, and find content, including images, videos, copy, and resources, from the Media Library, other tools/sites, and Digital Asset Manager.

Task Execution & Problem-Solving:

  • Follow instructions to complete tasks while logically addressing gaps and connecting the dots as needed.
  • Independently work through webpage creation tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency after initial training.
  • Communicate effectively to flag issues or request clarification when required.

Collaboration & Quality Assurance:

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment with website functionality, user experience, and design goals.
  • Maintain a consistent level of quality without requiring extensive supervision or review.


Requirements

Technical Skills:

  • At least 1 year experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress (experience with Divi Builder, Elementor, or similar themes is a plus), Shopify, WIX or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in using drag-and-drop website builders and WYSIWYG editors.
  • Strong understanding of technology and software tools related to web design and familiar with website development.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager

Language & Communication:

  • Proficient in English; French proficiency is a bonus but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work Ethic & Organization:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow directions while bridging gaps in task details to produce high-quality results.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to feedback.
  • A self-starter who can manage tasks independently after training.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with project management principles and tools.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles like Meta Description & Meta Title. Experience in SEO content creation and keyword optimization. Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs is a plus.
  • Familiarity with website architecture and site mapping is a plus.
  • A proactive approach to identifying issues and providing solutions.
  • Familiarity with the heavy equipment or manufacturing industry
