Sr. Finance Functional Consultant

This is a remote position.

We are hiring experience consultants for a multi-year Oracle ERP Fusion Project for a US Public Sector.

• Lead System Implementation: Drive the full lifecycle implementation of Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Costing) within the chosen ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, D365).
  

• Requirement Analysis: Conduct deep-dive workshops to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements from Finance stakeholders.
  

• Solution Design & Configuration: Translate requirements into functional design documents (FDDs) and perform hands-on system configuration.
  

• Process Optimization: Advise clients on best practices to standardize and optimize core financial processes (R2R, O2C, P2P).
  

• Integration: Collaborate with technical teams to design and test integrations between the Finance system and other enterprise applications.
  

• Testing & Support: Lead unit, system integration (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT); provide Tier 3 functional support post-go-live.
  

• Mentorship: Coach and mentor junior functional consultants on project methodology and functional expertise.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in Finance, Accounting, or dedicated Finance Functional Consulting.
  

• System Expertise: 3+ years of full-cycle implementation experience with a major ERP Finance module (e.g., SAP FI/CO, Oracle Financials, D365).
  

• Financial Acumen: Deep functional knowledge across multiple financial modules (GL, AP, AR, etc.).
  

• Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification: CPA, CMA, or relevant ERP Functional Certification.
  

• Transformation: Experience in large-scale global finance transformation projects.
  

• Reporting: Knowledge of financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
