As a therapist at Connect2Care, you will be joining a multidisciplinary team. You will provide evidence-based services to students and educators / teachers through multiple service delivery models, including telehealth, community visits & centre-based services (schools and Connect2Care hubs). It is a mobile role, with the option to work from home or our hubs when not seeing clients. The role will involve the following:

  • Assessing and providing interventions 1:1 for children & adults living with a range of disabilities and in the school/education setting (preschool, primary and secondary schools)
  • Collaborating with educators and support staff to implement evidence-based communication strategies etc.
  • Offering upskilling and professional development for educators to embed communication strategies in the classroom.
  • Assisting clients and school educators/teachers with assistive technology assessment, recommendations and applications (in relevant fields).
  • Writing timely, high-quality documentation and reports to support education funding submissions and program recommendations.
  • Staff education and upskilling / Professional development to lead educators and teachers
  • Managing a varied caseload aligned to school and student-specific goals.
  • Attending school-based and internal team meetings, supervision and clinical development sessions.
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders including families, educators, support coordinators and community leaders.
  • Working across leading software platforms and digital tools to streamline service delivery and reporting.
  • Managing a varied caseload and individual school goals and intervention.
  • Meeting company professional expectations (e.g. meeting billable & effective client management)
  • Working across leading software platforms & online tools
