Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer to join a medium sized firm, specializing in the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems for power and water infrastructure projects.  They are a Tier 1 supplier and need a competent Electrical Engineer with a good attitude to getting a job completed.

100% remote.  This position requires travel to client sites.  Van provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and commission electrical systems for power and water systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  
• Carry out electrical fault-finding, repairs, and troubleshooting on site.
  
• Provide technical expertise and support to the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Perform system tests and ensure proper functionality of electrical equipment.
  
• Work closely with other engineers, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality installations.
  
• Ensure all work is completed on time and within budget, while adhering to health and safety regulations.
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification (essential).
  
• Proven experience in the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems, preferably within power and water industries.
  
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
  
• Experience with control systems, power distribution, and water treatment systems.
  
• Proficient in using electrical testing equipment.
  
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
  
• Full, clean UK driving license and eligibility to work in the UK.
