SAP TM Consultant (Transportation Management)

This is a remote position.

We are looking for an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant to join our SAP team in a fully remote capacity. The consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP TM solutions to optimize transportation planning, execution, and freight settlement processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP TM (Embedded & Standalone), integration with SAP S/4HANA and SAP EWM, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional supply chain teams in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP TM (Transportation Planning, Carrier Selection, Freight Order Management, Freight Settlement, etc.).
  

• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  

• Integrate SAP TM with SAP ECC/S4HANA, SAP EWM, SAP EM, and third-party logistics systems.
  

• Configure planning and execution processes such as order management, load planning, tendering, and freight costing.
  

• Provide functional support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth system operations.
  

• Conduct workshops, training, and knowledge transfers with end users and support teams.
  

• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
  

• Stay updated with the latest SAP TM capabilities and industry best practices.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Technology, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP TM consulting with at least 2 end-to-end implementations.
  

• Strong expertise in Transportation Planning, Execution, Freight Settlement, and Charge Management.
  

• Experience with integration to SAP S/4HANA (order management, logistics execution, finance) and SAP EWM.
  

• Knowledge of Master Data (Locations, Business Partners, Resources, Transportation Lanes) in TM.
  

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  

• Ability to work independently in a remote, multicultural team environment.
  

Preferred Skills:

• SAP TM certification.
  

• Experience in SAP Embedded TM in S/4HANA.
  

• Knowledge of Logistics Business Network (LBN).
  

• Familiarity with Agile/Hybrid methodologies and global deployment projects.
