Sales & Marketing Representative

Job description

Description

Asteris is a leading veterinary imaging platform (PACS/RIS/DICOM) serving small-animal and equine practices. Our cloud solution integrates with major PIMS partners and teleconsultation providers to deliver fast, reliable image management and specialist workflows worldwide.

Help grow revenue by sourcing and closing new opportunities, nurturing accounts, and supporting day-to-day marketing. Expect a mix of outbound prospecting, product demos, light proposal work, and hands-on content/social support. You’ll also represent us at 3–4 industry tradeshows per year.

What You’ll Do

  • Pipeline & Prospecting: Identify and qualify new opportunities across small-animal and equine practices; book and run discovery calls.
  • Demos & Deals: Deliver crisp product demos (cloud PACS, 3D viewer, teleconsultation options, PIMS integrations); support proposals, contracts, and follow-ups.
  • Account Care: Build trust with prospects and customers; capture needs and translate them into solutions and next steps.
  • Marketing Support: Manage social channels, assist with content (posts, one-pagers, case highlights), and help run lead-gen campaigns.
  • Integration Marketing: Coordinate with partners on PIMS and teleradiology integrations; create co-marketing assets and announcements.
  • Events: Attend tradeshows; help with booth prep, live demos, and lead capture.
  • Reporting: Track activities, pipeline, and notes in Salesforce; share weekly insights on funnel health and campaign performance.

Success looks like: consistent activity, qualified pipeline growth, demo-to-opportunity conversion, clean CRM hygiene, and closed-won contribution.

What You Bring

  • Frontline veterinary background (preferred): RVT, veterinary nurse, vet tech, diagnostic imaging, or PACS/radiology workflow experience in a clinic or hospital.
  • Clear, confident communicator; comfortable running demos and handling objections.
  • Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce preferred), basic content creation, and social media scheduling.
  • Organized, curious, and coachable; able to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
  • Willingness to travel to tradeshows/industry events 3–4 times per year.
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Marketing/Business/Vet/related field preferred but not required; equivalent hands-on experience welcome.
  • Nice to have: Understanding of veterinary practice workflows (reception → imaging → reporting → billing), PIMS, teleradiology ecosystems, or prior SaaS sales.

We’re an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
