About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated AI Chatbot Developer Intern to join our forward-thinking team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to enhancing our conversational AI capabilities and to build a new, engaging chatbot for our company's landing page. This contract position is an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge, cloud-based AI technologies. While this role will begin as a contract, there is potential for extension based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with our development team to enhance the conversational flow and user experience of our existing Q&A systems.
Design, develop, and deploy a customer-facing chatbot for our website's landing page using AWS Lambda and Amazon Lex.
Assist in the integration of the chatbot with our existing backend systems and databases.
Test and debug chatbot functionalities to ensure a smooth and error-free user interaction.
Contribute to the documentation of the chatbot's architecture and functionalities.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in conversational AI and AWS services.

Required Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
A foundational understanding of Python.
Exposure to or coursework in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
A strong and demonstrable interest in building chatbots and conversational AI.

Preferred Skills:

Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly AWS Lambda and Amazon Lex, through projects, coursework, or previous internships.
Familiarity with building and consuming APIs.
Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for chatbot integration is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
