Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

About the Role

Were searching for a rockstar Technical Cofounder to come in as a third cofounder and to lead all things tech from front to back and create the best possible personal AI for health. You'll own projects end-to-end across our distributed system and mobile app

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable distributed systems using queues, object storage, and SQL/NoSQL databases

• Develop robust backend services in TypeScript

• Lead the development of our SwiftUI iOS app with Realm and Firebase integration

• Implement and optimize OpenAI API integrations

• Deliver high-quality code with comprehensive testing, but also know where to take shortcuts

• Take ownership and thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments

• Plan and break down complex projects into manageable tasks, with ability to delegate effectively

Qualifications

• Experience building distributed systems and working across the full stack

• Familiarity with TypeScript and backend development

• Familiarity with iOS development (SwiftUI preferred)

• Experience with LLM applications or strong interest in AI/ML technology

• Customer-first mindset with focus on user experience

• Self-motivated problem-solver who can execute quickly with minimal direction

• Experience with CI/CD, testing frameworks, and deployment strategies

• Prefers delivering customer value over building perfect systems, with the ability to balance pragmatic solutions while maintaining flexibility for future growth

• Strong planning and task management skills with ability to prioritize effectively

A plus if:

• Understanding/experience with prompt engineering, LLM optimization, building Agents, and NLP

• Experience with health tech or fitness applications
