Job Description:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AR Collections Specialist to join our dynamic team at Elevate Calls Inc. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing revenue cycles and ensuring timely collections.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable (AR) collections processes efficiently and effectively.
• Review and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances.
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and discrepancies in payment postings.
• Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders to address payment issues and resolve outstanding balances.
• Utilize Athena Health EMR system to track and manage accounts receivable activities.
• Analyze AR aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on delinquency levels.
• Collaborate with the billing and coding team to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an AR Collections Specialist or similar role in the healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in using Athena Health EMR system is required.
• Strong understanding of medical billing and insurance claims processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and exceed performance targets.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare AR collections.
