CTO - Layer 1 Blockchain Role

Company Description:

Our client is a modular layer 1 blockchain network.They aim to be a high performance, scalable and modular public chain. They are a multi-chain fusion network focused on sovereignty and data protection.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Providing leadership and direction to the technology teams
• Develop the technical architecture within a blockchain environment to support the goals of the business
• Technical strategy around platforms, partnership and external relationships 
• Conduct research and case studies on cutting edge technologies and determine the probability of implementation
• Evaluate and anticipate potential technical risks to ensure safe, stable and fast operation of the system
• Acquainted with consensus mechanism, encryption algorithm, zero-knowledge proof, open source code and public chain cross-chain technology
• Independently develop, integrate, deploy, refactor and tune smart contracts, manage the principle of smart contract execution; comprehend the smart contract security system, and elaborate on the measure for various types of smart contract vulnerabilities
• Assign and review the work of system analysts, programmers, and developers
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff or participate in staffing decisions 
• Involve building bridges and networking within the Blockchain community, including notable influencers in L1/L2 blockchain

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or above
• Native English speaker
• Remote role, person can be located in New York, Bangkok, Hong Kong or Dubai, or his/her choice.
• With more than 6 years of work experience, and more than 3 years of work experience in blockchain and financial technology related projects/product environment
• In-depth knowledge of Layer-1&2 blockchain networks and Web3 protocols
• Good understanding of blockchain technology and worked on projects on Golang, Rust and C++ languages and frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
