24 HOURS NON-BILLABLE ORIENTATION HOURS
NO ORIENTATION AT NGHS 9/13 AND 9/20 - START DATES 9/27 & 10/4
HOLIDAY EXPECTATIONS, MUST WORK ONE DAY OF EACH HOLIDAY SET (EX. WORK DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING, ON THANSGIVING, BLACK FRIDAY)
SCHEDULING MANAGED THROUGH CENTRAL STAFFING OFFICE.
EVERY OTHER WEEKEND REQUIREMENT.
EXPECTED TO WORK HOLIDAYS.
These PCTs will work in the MS Departments.
They should be a certified CNA and hospital bedside experienced.
Expectations of PCTs include, but not limited to:
- Vitals, Baths, Daily Care Practices, Call Lights, Transportation, Respond to Monitor Alerts, Meal Assistance, Monitor Blood Glucose/Sugar Checks
Some units with Team Nursing Model - 8 patient to 1 RN + 1 LPN + 1 PCT
CNA certification, current BLS
Will care for COVID + patients and may be floated to all campuses within hospital system if needed. (4 campuses: Gainesville, Braselton, Barrow, Lumpkin)
Vital signs, Blood sugars using glucometer, document in the EMR EPIC system work with primary nurse to provide assists with feeding, toileting, ambulating of patients on inpatient units.
Shifts are 12 hours - this is not negotiable
