SSRS Reports Developer(apply only if you are a US Permananet Resident)

Summary:

The Reports Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining SQL reports, as well as designing and implementing data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of technologies, including SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, T-SQL, and SQL Server.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SQL reports
• Design and implement data integration solutions
• Work with business users to gather requirements and design solutions
• Monitor the performance of reports and take corrective action as needed
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the reporting and data integration field

Must Have:

• At least five years of experience working as a reports developer creating and fine-tuning SQL reports from data stored in various relational databases.
• Experience with a variety of technologies, including SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, T-SQL, and SQL Server
• Experience designing Request for robust Logical Data Models and stewarding the data design of the solution and ensuring alignment with the larger roadmap goals.
• Experience designing, developing, debugging, and supporting complex data integration interfaces and processes (including stored procedures, triggers, tables, user defined functions, views, indexes, relational database models) using various tools and technologies including SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, T-SQL and SQL Server technology. This experience must include full time experience in developing ETL scripts and writing code from data model, dataflow diagram and technical design specifications.
• Experience demonstrating understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies specific to requirements elicitation and analysis, participating in joint application design sessions with the business users to analyze existing or future business processes, preparing business process workflows, business use cases, logical data models, and user interface design for reports and associated functionality.
• Experience working with Microsoft products/tools such as Power BI, SQL Server versions 2008, 2012, and 2016, SQL Server Reporting Services, etc. This experience should include monitoring the performance of reports and taking corrective action to optimize or improve the performance of the reports when necessary.

Need to have

1. Experience with SQL Reports in a large pension or state system.
2. 3+ years of experience with requirements elicitation, business use cases, and functional/nonfunctional requirements.
3. Experience with data integration, data conversion, and ETL.
4. Experience with source code management software, such as TFS.
5. Experience producing and assisting in the creation of reports specifications, data dictionaries, reporting tool/platform architectures, test scenarios, and test cases.
6. 3+ years of experience using test application lifecycle management tools.
7. Strong understanding of SQL Server Replication Services and experience in setting up replication between a single source and multiple targets.
8. Experience in working with tables with a large number of records and creating test data sets.
9. Strong understanding of SQL Server Reporting Services Security Model and integration with Microsoft Active Directory and SharePoint Technologies.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
