Job description

Designation: AI Backend Engineer

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (Remote)

Their focus lies in the B2B and B2B2C sectors within Southeast Asia, where they leverage cutting-edge technology solutions to empower businesses and drive growth

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the CEO on day-to-day tasks and high-priority AI projects.
Utilise AI to build mobile and web applications, with hands-on work across backend development, databases, APIs, and AI integration.
Build AI agents and automation tools using Python, APIs, and platforms like n8n, Zapier.
Research, develop, and optimise prompts to enhance the efficiency of using AI tools and AI language models like GPT, and document findings to evaluate and benchmark AI capabilities
Assist in troubleshooting and enhancing model performance through prompt iteration, testing, and backend integration.
Contribute to AI-driven product development by exploring innovative use cases and applications for AI within the company.

Qualifications:

At least 1 year of experience in software development with a backend and AI focus.
Strong backend programming skills (Python, Next.js, etc.) and backend frameworks, with experience using AI tools to improve coding efficiency.
Experience with cloud platforms, strong database design, and CI/CD.
Familiarity with containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Understanding of LLMs and automation tools (e.g., LangChain, vector databases, n8n).
Experience with testing, website security and understanding of frontend technologies is a plus.
Passion for AI and software development.
Strong soft skills:
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to work independently and take initiative in a remote working environment.
