Job description

Hiring Position: Software Engineer (Application Support): Open to Thai Nationals Only

Working Condition: Hybrid Working (3 Days at Office and 2 Days from Anywhere OR WFA)

Location: Bangkok, Thailand (BTS and MRT Accessible)

Pay Rate: THB 45000 to THB 70000 + Travel Allowance + Mobile Allowance + Shift Allowance

Scope of the Role:

As a Software Engineer (Application Support), you will take ownership of delivering exceptional service to our global customers in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries by resolving software-related issues and ensuring that the expected service level agreements (SLAs) are met using standardized procedures and processes.

Responsibilities:

Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
Diagnose and troubleshoot both functional and technical issues of the product, which may be related to other IT areas (e.g., network, OS)
Ensure tickets are created, updated, and resolved within the SLA
Liaise and collaborate with our global headquarters for knowledge transfer and process improvement activities
Properly escalate unresolved incidents to appropriate internal or external teams following the workflow in a timely manner

Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Knowledge of business process orientation
Ability to write SQL queries in databases (Oracle, Postgres) and understand SQL scripts
Ability to analyze OS (Windows, Linux, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm), application, and database logs
Flexibility to work in different shifts and hours
Proficiency in English is a must

Beneficial Experience:

Experience working with applications such as MES and ERP
Basic knowledge of Unix (Linux) command/shell scripts
Basic knowledge of Kubernetes
Basic knowledge of Docker Swarm
Basic knowledge of Java programming
Background experience as a Programmer Analyst, System Analyst, or System Architect
