WordPress Programmer (DH - 01232025 - WP)

Position: WordPress Programmer

Number of hours: 40 hours/week

Schedule: UK Time

Tasks required:

• Manage and maintain the backend of the WordPress website.

• Ensure smooth operation and performance of the WordPress platform.

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in WordPress.

• Address and resolve issues related to the client’s website.

• Perform regular updates to ensure the website functions seamlessly.

• Develop and maintain applications using the Laravel framework.

• Work with XML technology and MLS (Multiple Listing Service) technology.

• Implement a daily automated function to update client portfolios at 3 AM UK Time.

• Provide backend access to the administrative area of the website for management purposes.

• Utilize Bitbucket to manage repositories.

• Add tasks, track their completion, and ensure effective repository management.

• Other ad hoc tasks to be assigned

Requirements:

• Fluency in written and spoken English is of the utmost importance.

• Strong communication skills are essential.

• Proficient in Laravel framework.

• Knowledge and experience in XML and MLS technologies.

• Proficiency in WordPress web frameworks, add-ons, and widgets.

• Competent in managing WordPress backend with at least 1 year of experience.

• Experienced with WordPress Blog content and familiar with WordPress SEO functions and software.

• Sound knowledge of a fully meshed web network to create links, carousels, and tiles between blogs and other company websites.

• Good knowledge of SEO programs, including Yoast.com SEO and other related software.

• Ability to deliver content thoroughly checked across popular browsers and search engines.

• Good knowledge of social network marketing.

• Understanding of digital marketing and website monetization strategies.

• Sound knowledge of GDPR requirements and implementation.

• Ability to install and update anti-spam programs and detect spam content.

• Familiarity with Bitbucket for repository management and task tracking.

• Ability to add pages, content, and images to blogs.

• Good knowledge of blogging programs and their purpose.

• Ability to work unsupervised to deliver high-quality content and coding on time.

• Reporting and providing progress updates at regular intervals.

• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques.

• Competitive charging for work completed.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure all project goals are met.

Work Schedule:

• Ability to implement tasks on a time-sensitive schedule, such as the 3 AM UK Time portfolio updates.
